The Assistant Traffic Engineer plans and performs complex technical, management, and administrative work related to the transportation planning, engineering, and multimodal network planning areas; responsible for managing transportation reviews related to development projects and monitoring transportation levels of services adopted in the City’s Comprehensive Plan; responsible for the evaluation of resident requests concerning traffic and transportation engineering issues and providing responses in a timely manner; acts as liaison between the City, other municipalities, Palm Beach County, and the Florida Department of Transportation; and performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.
