The Transportation Engineer will work closely with the County Safety and Mobility Engineer to accomplish multimodal transportation objectives and outcomes. He/she will be responsible for planning and implementing multimodal roadway user safety programs through program development, implementation, and management for County Roads. This includes enhancing multimodal networks, intersection safety, roadway lighting, speed management, safe routes to school, micro mobility access, reduction of fatal and severe crashes, complete streets, access management, congestion management, public education, and engineering document reviews.
