WSSC Water seeks a Chief Engineer to serve as the Commission’s lead subject matter expert in all engineering and construction matters. This position serves in a confidential, policy making, and public contracting role. Key Functions: Serves as the Commission’s Chief Engineer and lead subject matter expert in all engineering and construction matters. Supervises a diverse staff of engineers and technical personnel including industry subject matter experts. Directs the planning, design and construction of water supply and sanitary sewage facilities and systems in the sanitary district. Directs and manages the retrofit and modernization of Commission facilities due to deterioration.
