TrinityRail is hiring a Career Welder 2nd Shift at our Jonesboro plant.

The Career Welder position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge

What you’ll do:

  • Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groove

  • Perform repairs to subassemblies for final product

  • Perform oxy-fuel welding

  • Perform carbon arc welding

  • Conduct one or two NDE tests

  • Weld in all positions, while being restricted in body positing

  • Perform repairs, routine maintenance to railcars

  • Produce high quality welds in accordance of AAR and AWS

  • Safely remove material using CAC

  • Apply welds using FCAW & GMAW

  • Routinely use a propane torch in a safe manor

  • Follow all JSA’s

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

  • Follow all safety rules and practices

  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives

 

 

 

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience

Must be willing to work Sunday  - Thursday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM and occasional Friday's
