The Department of Bioengineering at Northeastern University is hiring 3 faculty members in these different fields: Mechanobiology, Chemical Imaging of Living Systems, Single Cell Proteomics.
The Department of Bioengineering (bioe.northeastern.edu) includes 27 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 36% of whom are women; five full-time teaching faculty; and 47 faculty with affiliates appointments. Bioe enrolls approximately 600 undergraduate students; 90 MS students; and 95 fully funded PhD students.

Successful candidates must have a PhD in Bioengineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution by the appointment start-date. Senior-level candidates must have a demonstrated record of funded and collaborative research, recognition for accomplished teaching and a track record in supporting or leading efforts for inclusion and diversity. Junior applicants should demonstrate the ability to develop an innovative, externally funded and collaborative research program. As education is a cornerstone of our Department, candidates should describe their teaching approaches/methods/expertise and ability to engage in students both in and out of the classroom, as mentors and educators.
