Project Manager - Water/Wastewater – Pottsville, Wilkes-Barre or Pittsburgh, PA
We have a career opportunity for a water/wastewater engineer with a proven track record of successfully managing a broad range of public drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems. In this role, you will both self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water-related infrastructure projects, as well as play an important role in managing client relationships. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the water/wastewater group. This position has the opportunity to sit out of our Pottsville, Wilkes-Barre, or Pittsburgh, PA office.

The successful candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for:
Managing assigned projects by providing direct supervision and overall leadership
Developing project scope, schedule, and budget; executing project work plans
Identifying resources needed and effectively delegating staff duties and responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to utilize accounting and scheduling software for project management
Monitoring work for adherence to project scope and identifying out of scope actions
Resolving scope, schedule, and budget discrepancies with Group Manager and client
Participating in contract negotiations
Maintaining staffing projections and coordinating needs with Group Manager
Assuming ownership of the financial aspects of the projects
Performing project close-out
Assisting with marketing efforts, proposal writing, and marketing visits to potential clients
Identifying business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project
Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
What You Will Need:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
Minimum of eight (8) years of water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater
Licensed PE in Pennsylvania
Existing client relationships in Pennsylvania desired
Excellent communication and client relation skills
Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment
