Statistical Geneticist
We are seeking a highly motivated human statistical geneticist to work on therapeutic target discovery. The successful candidate will analyze publicly-available and large-scale human genetic data-sets (e.g. biobank exome data) to identify and characterize disease risk or protective variants/genes. Variant effect characterization will be carried out using Deep Genomics' proprietary variant effect predictors based on deep learning models trained on large-scale genomics data, in addition to existing techniques such as fine mapping. Deep Genomics has offices in Toronto (Canada) and Boston. Applicants located in Toronto or Boston will be preferred, but other remote-work arrangements are also possible.
