Dominion Energy is seeking candidates for an Engineer position in the Gas Operations Engineering & Construction group. This position is responsible for examining, planning and managing natural gas pipeline projects within the Southern Division (Charleston, Summerville, Beaufort Bluffton and outlying areas). The position will also design and coordinate activities involved in operation, installation, repair and maintenance for the components (pipe, valves, etc.) that make up the natural gas system. Provides leadership and support of the development of employees within the Engineering Department. Manage relationships between the Company and contract labor. Coordinate new products and services through working with suppliers and vendors. This is a highly visible and challenging position in one of the fastest growing markets in the Country. The position is located in Charleston, SC.

Designing projects or parts of projects, directing preparation of drawings and writing specifications, requisition materials and work orders.
Construction project management.
Perform tests and inspections of material, equipment, and/or processes.
Provide engineering and project management support for all natural gas system operations and construction activities.
Ensure regulatory permitting is satisfied in all operations and construction activities requiring such permitting.
Perform technical computations and studies, as required, for all work order designs (new business, SCDOT, system improvements, M&R stations, etc.)
Ensure that all operations/compliance issues related to DOT 192 and PSC guidelines are satisfied.
Support the technical needs of commercial sales activities.
Bachelor's Degree from an ABET accredited Engineering Program from a recognized college or university
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
Candidates will be considered for employment based on the following criteria:
Engineer III - Minimum of 4 years engineering experience, with registration as a FE
Engineer IV – Minimum of 6 years engineering experience, with registration as a PE
