How would you like to provide supervision and technical support to contract administration and design personnel on bridge/highway construction projects? Applicants must be licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity. (If obtaining licensure through reciprocity, a practice pending letter from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)
Additionally, Engineer Senior resumes must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge and experience in materials, road/bridge contract administration and general construction practices.
Previous supervisory or leadwork experience of paraprofessional construction engineering work and skills sufficient to ensure construction projects are completed in a timely manner.
Experience negotiating with contractors and writing change orders.
Engineer 2 Graduate:
Bachelor of Science degree or Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
Two years of post-graduate engineering experience.
Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
Additionally, Engineer 2 Graduate resumes must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge and experience in materials, road & bridge contract administration and general construction practices.
Experience negotiating with contractors and drafting change orders.
