SCOPE: Responsible for the evaluation and written inspection of all areas to insure overall cleanliness and appearance of work project site meets standards according to the Quality Assurance Plan.
LOCATION: Tinker Air Force Base
Hours for the Quality Assurance Inspector may vary according to contract needs with a 30 minute lunch - evening hours may be required.
This position is non-exempt and receives overtime pay at one and one half times the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 hours in a workweek beginning Saturday 12:00am through Friday midnight.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in janitorial service with progressive responsibilities to include the methods and materials for all types floor care surfaces preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance responsibilities
Knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and other duties pertaining to janitorial profession
Experience working with people with disabilities preferred
The following physical requirements are necessary to meet this job description:
Standing, bending & walking up to 8 hours
use of hands to handle or feel tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, crouch, bend, talk and hear
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions upon entering and exiting buildings (something like this for the exposure to elements)
Able to lift maximum weight of 50 pounds vertically
Able to lift maximum weight of 25 pounds horizontally
Able to carry above described weights a minimum distance of 100 feet including up and down stairs
Required to be able to operate a vehicle for travel/transportation purposes related to the work
NOTE: Employee will be coached for lifting more than maximum weight or for non-use of required safety equipment.
