LA Metro seeks a senior engineer (civil/roadway) with a minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience in civil engineering, including design and construction of public transit projects or major public agency projects. Position will be open until filled and may be closed at any time without notice. Salary range is $90,813 – $136,219. The senior engineer will perform complex civil/roadway engineering work related to major rail transit projects and oversee a work group or project team in performing engineering projects and oversee design work performed by consultants. A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and State of California registration as a Professional Engineer in civil engineering is required. Experience in roadway design, grading, drainage, and utility relocation, leading or managing engineering projects, and knowledge of the city of Los Angeles and Caltrans standards and procedures are preferred.
