In this role you’ll be… working as part of the manufacturing engineering team to drive resolution of quality issues experienced on the production floor as well as at the customer site and also lead/drive continuous improvement of products and processes.

You should possess… Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field with a minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience with a concentration in Six Sigma, continuous improvement, problem solving or lean management.
Principal Activities / Duties / Responsibilities:
Implements approved continuous improvement, problem solving and lean procedures, programs and systems
Writes standard work for continuous improvement and problem solving activities
Provides training to supply chain personnel on continuous improvement and problem solving procedures and skills
Designs and implements lean daily management
Performs analysis on production processes to identify areas that require corrective action and/or improvement
Fosters continuous improvement by being a member of or leading various TQM and lean teams
Participates in design reviews of new supply products to ensure Quality requirements are addressed
Participates in Quality Management System Reviews
Teaches the MARKEM-IMAJE community on topics relative to the quality discipline, quality tools, continuous improvement, lean tools and problem solving.
Works in conjunction with Manufacturing and/or Process Engineering to conduct process troubleshooting and process capability analyses and to implement/improve process control where appropriate.
Defines project goals, scope and boundaries and project plans then follows through on project plans ensuring any risks are identified early
Education and/or Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Quality Assurance
5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing facility with a concentration in Six Sigma, continuous improvement, problem solving or lean management
On-going, advanced coursework in the field of Quality Assurance Engineering/Lean Six Sigma desirable
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Six Sigma Green Belt or Master’s Degree
Able to work in a team environment and to multi-task.
Results oriented and committed to quality and continuous improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to make presentations.
Strong analytical, problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
Positive attitude with a quality mindset and motivated/driven to make improvements
