Sundance Consulting, Inc. (www.sundance-inc.net) is seeking a PE and/or PG/LG Program Manager with strong technical writing skills to manage small-to-medium-sized projects and assist with large project and program coordination. This role will provide Technical Lead expertise, to include data analysis, preparation of UFP-QAPPS, Health and Safety Plans that align with EM385-1-1, preparation of cost estimates and fee proposals. Provide technical guidance and direction to staff and project teams. Coordinate the efforts of multidisciplinary teams tasked with field investigations; write and assist with preparation of technical documents and submittals; understand and implement rigorous quality control protocols; and, interface with external clients, including State and Federal Government personnel. Understand RCRA, CERCLA and NPDES investigations, studies, decision documents and related documentation for various State, tribal and Federal agencies.
Serve as a program manager on projects, overseeing the preparation of documents, reports, presentations, technical memoranda, public notices, forms, and other work products.
Interpret data and prepare site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, conceptual site models, and write technical reports.
Manage subcontractors and execute Subcontract and Team agreements.
Develop and maintain environmental policy and procedures manuals for compliance assurance throughout the lifecycle of projects.
Support soil and groundwater remediation projects that include planning and oversight of complex hydrogeological investigations and modeling activities.
Direct and perform field work, including soil, sediment, and aquifer testing.
Manage the completion of subsurface investigations of soil and groundwater at proposed properties.
Provide oversight of well development and construction.
Manage environmental permitting and other state and federal permitting, including United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permitting.
Coordinate and direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.
Design and implement sampling plans involving groundwater, surface water, soil and other monitoring.
Monitor remediation effectiveness and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
Mentor junior staff.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geology or a related field.
10 years of environmental remediation experience.
Professional Geologist Certification (PG or LG) or Professional Engineer Certification (PE).
Must have excellent technical writing ability.
Advanced knowledge of, experience with, and ability to apply environmental compliance and permitting regulations of applicable regulatory agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), United States Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DOE), and State agencies.
At least 5 years of experience working at a project engineer or scientist level on USACE Task Orders involving RCRA and/or CERLCLA sites.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of environmental regulations, including CERCLA/SARA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, NEPA, TSCA, NPDES, SPCC and SWPPP.
Commitment to overseeing production of high quality work within established budgets and schedules.
Strong analytical skills, including attention to detail.
Excellent writing skills are a must. Good verbal communication skills with experience interfacing with external clients, members of the public, and government officials.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project
Current HAZWOPER certification and or ability to obtain.
Valid Driver's License. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
Professional in Project Management Certification (PMP)
developing statistical sampling plans and statistical data analysis.
Ability to successfully pass drug screen and background check.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
