We currently have an opening for a Project Manager in United’s Bridge Department. The ideal candidate will embrace the progressive challenge to evolve into a well-rounded engineer, capable of designing multiple elements of bridge replacement, bridge rehabilitation, and bridge inspection projects.
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion including project proposals and client presentations as-needed. Applicants must have their Professional Engineers license in the state of Indiana or able to receive it by proxy.
The successful candidate will be trained to succeed in project management and will be self-motivated with a strong technical background and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Special consideration will be given to applicants who are currently certified as an INDOT Bridge Inspection Team Leader or who have recently successfully completed the Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (FHWA-NHI-130055) course and / or successfully completed the Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges (FHWA-NHI-130078) course.
Project Managers must have their PE with 8 -15 years of work experience.
