The City of Topeka (KS) is seeking applicants for a professional Civil Engineer to administering public improvement projects and programs including supervising and participating in the design, planning, and scheduling of engineering projects and overseeing the work of contractors and consultants.
The position also conducts and/or participates in drainage studies, writing reports and findings, administration of contracts, and meeting with individuals and groups to discuss public works projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, Must be registered as a Professional Engineer either in the State of KS or with the ability to obtain KS reciprocity within six months of hire date. Must have Three years of engineering experience after professional registration with at least two years as a project manager. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and city insurable driving record, KS license required within six months of hire date
