Postdoc position in respiratory fluid mechanics

A Postdoctoral position is available at the Ohio State University, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, to conduct applied respiratory aerodynamics research and engage in NIH-funded clinical studies to develop evaluation and treatment tools for nasal sinus disease. The projects are highly multidisciplinary in nature and involve significant collaborations with clinicians, surgeons, residents, scientists, engineers and face to face interactions with patients. Position is available immediately. Requirements include a PhD in mechanical engineering, bioengineering, biomedical engineering or related field. We are interested in individuals had previous training in computational fluid dynamics (CFD), mathematical modeling, image processing, computer simulation/visualization; and is familiar with one or more software: Ansys, Fluent, Matlab, ImageJ and familiar with UNIX or LINUX environment.
