Global organization is seeking an IMS (Integrated Management System) Compliance Coordinator in their East Hanover and Florham Park, NJ offices in a permanent capacity. Candidates will thrive in a dynamic and fast moving organization.
The IMS Compliance Coordinator is responsible for supporting compliance for Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Recycling standards. The organization adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, R2, EPA regulations, and OSHA regulations.
Ensure that processes needed for the Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety, Recycling (QEHS&R) Management System are established, implemented and maintained.
Prepares compliance audit data by compiling and analyzing internal and external information.
Supports departments by collecting and coordinating internal compliance data with auditors and various departments.
Coordinate corrective actions in response to internal Managers and registrar non-conformances, customer issues, and system weaknesses
Educates the workforce on Quality Assurance programs and tools.
Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Enhances compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Ensures that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in a relevant role
Must be familiar and have working knowledge of aforementioned ISO and OHSAS standards
Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety as well as OSHA
Able to create procedures, SOPs, and flow charts
Must be fluent in Spanish both written and verbal
Knowledgeable and experienced in data analysis
Strong attention to detail
Plan and think quickly
Organize and work well in a fast-paced environment
Strong task management
Quality Auditor certification from ASQ or similar
Previous experience working in PDCA manufacturing environment
