Looking for a unique individual to bridge the gap between engineering design and field work for civil engineering land development projects. We will train you but you need a basic understanding of how land developments get built in the field as well as what goes on in the office to make it happen. It is unique position for a true civil engineer.
Job duties will include analyzing legal descriptions of properties, field surveys of property boundaries, creating subdivision maps, preparing engineering infrastructure design plans and associated construction staking and layout, writing legal descriptions and creating exhibits, researching property information and creating field packages for the field work, topographic/ALTA field surveys, office mapping of field work, hydrology & hydraulic studies, retaining wall design, sewer area studies, preparation of LID, SWPPP, & tentative maps, etc. We want to make you the most well-rounded engineer you can be.

Knowledge/experience of construction surveying principals and practice.
Knowledge/experience of subdivision mapping and infrastructure design
CADD experience (microStation/InRoads preferred).
Good written and oral communication skills.
Works well independently and in groups
Word & Excel proficiency.
The job can occasionally be physically demanding with field work.
