To help fulfill this mission, the agency is seeking candidates for the executive leadership vacancy of the Director of Field Services – West (DFS-West) located in Lakewood, Colorado.
The incumbent of this position will oversee the delivery of the Federal-aid highway program in 13 western FHWA division offices, with a collective program size of $9.5 billion and a staff of 263. The incumbent serves as a member of the FHWA Leadership Team in developing agency wide strategic initiatives that have broad national impact upon the Agency and the Nation’s transportation systems.
