Join LafargeHolcim, the world's largest manufacturer of building materials. This role will be responsible for the management and support of multi-divisional product lines. Our internal job title for this role is Material Performance Center Manager.
The prime purpose is to lead the safe operation of the lab, including personnel conducting testing and all visitors, provide quality and timely support in testing services (chemical, mortar, concrete, aggregates) to the three product lines as well as to the marketing group. Also to train LafargeHolcim personnel and customers on new technologies and new products and to demonstrate LafargeHolcim's technical capabilities and expertise to customers.

Promote and reinforce safe laboratory operations. Completion of regular inspections, risk assessments and adherence to safety policies and standards.
Manage lab operations in order to meet the testing requirements of the product lines and segments.
Effectively support internal customers in problem-solving, special studies, product development requiring high level of technical expertise.
Ensure quality, timely and reliable testing services.
Responsible to maintain the QA/QC for fly ash, slag, and blends and support to QA/QC programs for cement and aggregates
Establish priorities for testing requests.
Improve the testing standards to be best in class through benchmarking with other external labs. Maintain CCRL and AMRL, CMEC, relevant DOTs certifications as well as LafargeHolcim’s certification.
Ensure lab has continuous and improved service with reliable and state-of-the-art equipment and testing procedures. Be the liaison with LCR on new testing procedures.
Optimize workload by maintaining knowledge of external laboratories’ capability and capacity for outsourcing needs
Maximize laboratory personnel productivity and contribute to their development through knowledge up-dating, structured coaching, performance reviews
Manage laboratory operations in a cost effective manner and within allocated budget. Prepare annual laboratory operating budget, control costs
Report of laboratory progress/operations/performance
Maintain a repository of industry and proprietary technology for reference and continuity
Coordinate lab activities for US LafargeHolcim employees in support to new product/technology development and customer relationship
