As a Maintenance Technician with Liberty Paper, Inc.’s (LPI) paper mill you will serve as a key member of the maintenance team (± 20 ppl) with a primary focus on maintaining, troubleshooting issues and repairing of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment and machinery throughout our paper mill, paper coater and effluent (wastewater) plant. You will work closely with other maintenance and production technicians to ensure safe and reliable maintenance operations throughout our facility.
You will report directly to the Maintenance Team Lead and will work the DuPont 12 rotating shift after a individualized training period. This position is based in LPI’s paper mill in Becker, Minnesota located 35 miles northwest of the Minneapolis metro area.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Apply mechanical/electrical aptitude and use strong problem solving skills as you troubleshoot, repair/replace and maintain equipment.
Perform inspections of equipment condition/reports any issues.
Conduct work in safe manner and in compliance with OSHA and company policies and procedures.
Provide feedback for long-term machine use/efficiency.
Attend onsite training as required by the department.

TO QUALIFY, YOU WILL BRING:
A maintenance certification (or related degree), plus 2 years’ maintenance experience in an industrial setting, OR if you bring no formal certification/degree, you bring 5 years’ comprehensive maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
Demonstrated mechanical proficiency and an aptitude for E&I including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, pipe fitting, rigging, etc.
Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
